- Colour: Intensive ruby red colour with hints of purple.
- Aroma: Seductive fruity aroma, reminding us of ripe blackberry, blueberry and sour cherry. In conclusion we can find noble, gentle wooden note.
- Taste: Very rich, fruity, matured and velvet. Wine is very structured with tipical notes of blackberry, blueberry and matured sour cherry. Long after taste is concluded with pleasant juiciness and matured tannins. With maturation in big oak barrels, this speciality of Slovenian Istria, gets additional nobleness.
- Food And Wine Pairing Recommendation: Refo?k wine is an excellent companion to dried meat, rich meat dishes where pork meat prevails, beef, game and sheep. This wine is also a good compagnion to dishes, such as sardines on grill, “sardines in savor”, tuna and mackerel. It also combines very well pasta with stronger sauces.
